Hula POP
The point-of-purchase structure is made of all recyclable or reusable materials: masonite, off-the-shelf plumbing pipes and flanges, and a café table base purchased on the Bowery. Masonite was chosen for the shelves because it is the material most pottery wheel bats are made of. Their off-center arrangement reflects the asymmetrical ceramic work the display structure was created for, but the structure can accommodate "centered" shelves, and the heights between shelves can be adjusted with a change in pipe lengths.
