Cinemax Strikeback interactive video wall, New York, New York
As part of a team headed by BLT/Apologue, 4274 worked with Audio, Video & Controls in order to create a large video wall in vacant space on 34th street. 4274 was responsible for project management and site coordination including the construction of two large rolling platforms that the screens were mounted to. Capacitive touch screens were mounted to the window glass so that four of the eighteen screens were interactive. Motion detection cameras tracked passerbys and the data was used to reveal ambient layers of information. The interactive interface allowed users to find out about the Strikeback series, to build personalized profiles, and then text an "ID card" to their mobile phones.
