This diagram shows one level of the two-level science center. ARIF was location aware by virtue of "Gateways" (red dots) that signaled that the device was in a major new area. Docking stations are where you could do things with the device such as control interactive media. Transmitters were points where audio was transmitted to the user based on their location and number input. The numbers were located on the graphic panels and provided an additional layer of information to the user in two languages.
