Thaddeus Stevens-Lydia Smith Houses, Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Design called for the preservation of the two houses of these renowned abolitionists within a new convention center in downtown Lancaster. An underground museum that will connect the two houses incorporates a hidden cistern believed to be an underground railway stop. Scott Guerin was project designer for this collaborative effort with Archimuse, Inc.
