The Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace: Watergate, Yorba Linda, California
Concieved to draw the visitor, inexorably, to the conclusion of the affair, the path was illuminated by
spotlights that grew in diameter until they lit the image of Nixon waving from the helicopter as he departed.
Text was rear illuminated on a rail while images were reflected in a smoked mirror.
A couple items of interest, on the night before the Library opened, the lock pick tools and address book were
removed from display, and the exhibit designer, Guerin, made the walls flanking the original "smoking gun" tape exhibit 18 1/2 feet long
in honor of the 18 1/2 minute gap in the tape.
